FG8497 Differentieal conversion 2-fold locking, Set.
Differential Conversion to 2-folded self locking.
Suitable for all FG 1/5 and 1/6 2WD and 4WD models.
Each aluminum differential housing, with the associated sleeve of FG Modellsport, is suitable for this conversion.
Two gear wheels are replaced by those of the kit, they have a square carrier at the rear so that the brake disc can be pushed. The steel brake plates are placed on the side in the housing and kept in place by the sleeve. This differential measures the grip difference on both wheels and adjusts the locking.
It is important that the output shafts are lubricated before assembly with Molykote grease TPS0230. Furthermore, after a long time the play between the gears can be filled up again by steel spacer discs FG8495.
This set is supplied as a kit to build.
FG8505 is a handy tool for mounting the internal gears.
