Conversion sets:
This engine has the same installation dimensions as:
- Zenoah G230
- Zenoah G240
- Zenoah G260
- Zenoah G270
- Zenoah G290
- Chung Yang, Dynamic and similar
Installation in BWS, LOSI and TLR models:
If you want to install Zenoah motors in the mentioned models, you can replace the large engine cover with TPS7004 so that the mounting holes on the chassis match. However, there is also the possibility of assembling the Zenoah in its entirety, this i.c.m. another engine mounting plate. This is rotated 180 degrees on the carburetor side mounted.
You need the following gears:
- 18 gear: LOSB5802
- 19 gear: LOSB5804
- 20 teeth gear: LOSB5805
Engine is delivered complete but without clutch, engine flange and exhaust. For optimal use, we recommend the PSR-2 Race olie, and TPS™ Air filter system. All parts and tuning parts are available from stock!
Explanation carburetors:
- WT990 Standard carburetor without choke
- WT990BB without choke and the gas valve shaft double ball-beared
- WT990BBS without choke and RVS 340 tuning gas valve shaft double ball-beared, (recommended)
- WT997 Optional carburetor with choke and the gas valve shaft double ball-beared
- WT997BB Optional carburetor with choke and the gas valve shaft double ball-beared
- WT997BBS Optional carburetor with choke and RVS 340 tuning gas valve shaft double ball-beared, (recommended)
Engine running in:
- 1) Use 1:25 fuel mixture, 40 cc good quality 2-stroke oil on one litre 98 Octane fuel
- 2) Carb needles both 1 1/4 turn open
- 3) Start first time let it run at idle for 2 minutes until is had normal temperature
- 4) Run first tank of fuel normal but without reaching high speed, this will take approx 45 minutes
- 5) Let it completely cool down
- 6) Run second tank of fuel, now start reaching high speed shortly, this will take approx 40 minutes
- 7) Let it completely cool down
- 8) Visual check in exhaust port, check for leakage
- 9) Third tank drive it like you normal would do, but still reaching high speed shortly, but building, this will take approx 35 minutes
