Spektrum SR315 receiver
Based on the proven Spektrum DSMR technology, the Spektrum SR315 receiver offers an impressive range and response time, especially when the environment is heavy and a solid 2.4 GHz connection is crucial. Our 2.4 GHz connection is not only solid, it is also super fast with a speed of less than 5.5 ms!
This receiver offers a new modern housing which is compact and streamlined for almost every RC use. The housing also offers extra antenna protection and an antenna tube mount for seamless installation. An easy-to-reach button places you directly in the binding mode. In addition, during the binding process you have the option to use SmartSafe ™ and the standard Gas Failsafe options. With the combination of these functions, Spektrum offers drivers more functions in an affordable receiver that simply provides more safety while driving.
The SR315 can be used in very small spaces, so suitable for many top fits. We have removed all unnecessary edges from the enclosure and streamlined the receiver to make installation easier than ever. The casing offers additional antenna protection and an antenna tube attachment for those models that do not offer a good antenna installation option.
This new technology eliminates the need for the old binding plug. On this SR315 the binding button made on the top makes the binding of the receiver easier than ever. It also offers two bind-sequence options that further simplify the process by turning on the receiver at startup or in-line binding already enabled status.
This SR315 is equipped with the latest Failsafe mode, the "standard mode", and the "fuel mode".
What is Failsafe?
- If the connection between sender and receiver is lost, the servos will take the failsafe positions set during binding.
How can I set up Binding and the Failsafe?
- Put the power on the receiver and press the bind button, (LED starts blinking)
- Switch on the transmitter and go to the bind menu
- Hold the brake lever in the brake position and let the transmitter bind with the receiver
- The LED on the receiver will flash faster for a short time and then stays on continuously
- The bind process and the failsafe settings are now complete
How can I test the Failsafe?
- Switch on the receiver and transmitter and wait 5 seconds for the connection to be established.
- Now switch off the transmitter and the gas-brake servo goes into the brake position.
- ATTENTION! If maximum brakes have been selected, make sure that this is as short as possible in the event of a Failsafe position, otherwise the servo may be damaged.
