Concentrated, biodegradable, oil for the treatment of air foam filters.
This oil protects your engine optmally, follow the instructions below for the best results.
As with all foam filters, it is important to treat it properly. We have developed special products that meet the requirements for an effective filter. We give all our filters guarantee, provided they are treated with our TPS products such as:
- Air filter cleaner TPS0490/06
- Air filter oil TPS0490/05 and PUT9894
- Antistatic filter cover, TPS0490/14 and TPS0490/20,
Cleaning the filter;
- Heavily soiled filters: brush off the excessive dirt with a soft brush,
- Take a container that is at least two times the size of the filter and fill it with warm water,
- Add 3-5 tablespoons (depending on the pollution), cleaner TPS0490/06,
- Put the filter upside down in the container, with the rubber part above the water line,
- Let the filter soak for 20-30 minutes and then rinse it out from the inside out with warm water,
- Repeat this procedure until the water is completely clear, and let the filter dry thoroughly.
Oiling for On-Road use;
- Spray the top and side of the filter in with special foam air filter oil PUT9894,
- From left to right and top to bottom until the whole filter has a uniform color,
- Gently massage the oil in the filter using a plastic bag, then let in the filter dry for at least an hour in open air,
- The amount of oil that should be applied depends entirely on the circumstances, more dirt also means more oil,
- Ready for use.
Oiling for Off-Road use;
- Take a container where the filter fits in, and fill it with half the contents of filter oil TPS0490/05
- Now press the foam part in the oil, and let it soak for a few seconds,
- Take the filter out and gently press out all excessive oil out immediately,
- Put the remainder oil back into the bottle and store it in a cool dark place,
- Gently massage the oil in the filter using a plastic bag, then let in the filter dry for at least an hour in open air,
- Take a paper towel, press it in, and wrap it around the filter to get rid of all excessive oil,
- Ready for use
