The stainless steel band is relatively thin and flexible, yet strong, so that it fits well around the circumference of the hose when tightening the clamp. The thread runs are cold rolled in the outer circumference of the tire, so that the inside is completely flat. Moreover, the attachment of the housing to the tire is constructed in such a way that the inner side of the tire is also hardly interrupted there.

All this ensures a perfect connection to the hose circumference and a pronounced good seal. To prevent damage to the hose, the edges of the tire are turned outwards.
