Binding and calibrating the DX3 and SPM6300 AVC receiver:
AVC receivers have a function called "auto orientation", which means that the receiver determines a fixed position in order to work properly, and therefore must be permanently mounted in the model. So, for example, flat or upright, or if necessary upside down before you can bind and calibrate.
In other words, if you remove the receiver from the model and install it again in another, the binding and calibration process must be repeated again. This of course also applies to the installation of a new AVC receiver!
During the binding and calibration process it is therefore important that the model is in the position as the model is used. Make sure that both the transmitter and receiver batteries are fully charged!
Presetting the DX3 transmitter:
- Throttle limiter at 100%
- MS6XO rate mid~50%
- Front brake level 100%
- STR Subtrim middle~50%
- Front brake Subtrim middle ~50%
Binding process:
- Transmitter and receiver switched off
- Switch on receiver
- Press and hold the BIND button on the receiver for 3 seconds (LED starts flashing)
- The transmitter should be approximately 3 meters away from the receiver!
- Press and hold the BIND button on the transmitter and switch the transmitter on
- Release both buttons and the receiver LED will light up constantly, (binding process successful)
Immediately after the BIND process follows the Calibration process (transmitter and receiver still on).
Calibrate process:
- Note the LED on the receiver.
- Give full throttle, (the LED goes out), release the gas again, (the LED lights up again)
- Apply full brake, (the LED goes out), release the accelerator, (the LED lights up again)
- Steer fully to the right, (the LED goes out), release the steering wheel again, (the LED lights up again)
- Steer fully to the left, (the LED goes out), release the steering wheel again, (the LED lights up again)
Now the BIND and calibration process is complete and all functions can be used.
Set steering servo rate:
When installing another steering servo, the servo travel must be reset, which is factory set at 150%. This is important so that the new servo does not break!
- Turn on the transmitter and then the motorcycle and wait until everything is connected.
- Now switch off the transmitter,
- Turn the MS6X0 Rate steering knob all the way to the right,
- Hold the steering wheel all the way to the right, the brake at max and turn on the transmitter, release the steering wheel and brake, the green power LED on the transmitter flashes
- Now hold the steering wheel all the way to the right and use the MS6X0 Rate knob to set the desired steering angle to the right.
- Release the steering wheel and turn the MS6X0 Rate knob of the steering lock all the way to the right again,
- Now hold the steering wheel all the way to the left and use the MS6X0 Rate dial to set the desired steering angle to the left.
You can also adjust the wheelie angle with the MS6X0 Rate dial.
