Spektrum BT2000 Bluetooth module

The Spektrum BT2000 bluetooth module enables a wireless connection of Spektrum transmitters such as the DX3™, from the Spektrum developed mobile Spektrum Dashboard app to smartphones and tablets. The application displays a dashboard for various telemetry functions and allows the programming of adjustable parameters. These settings can then be saved in the Spektrum Dashboard app.

With the help of the smartphone holder SPM9070 you can read all data on the DX3 transmitter.

Technical details:

• Compatibility: iOS 5 or above, Android 5.1 or above
• Max range: 8-10 m

Installation:

• Switch off the transmitter.
• Remove the top cover from the DX3 ™ transmitter.
• Push the BT2000 firmly into the connection and make sure the pins are aligned with the connector. The BT2000 only fits in the transmitter in one direction.
• Replace the top cover of the transmitter after the pairing process is complete.

Pairing:

• Download and install the Spektrum Dashboard app on your mobile device.
• Make sure Bluetooth is turned on on your device.
• Open the Spektrum Dashboard app.
• Enable DX3. The LED on BT2000 will flash slowly (1 time per second).
• Start the pairing process by pressing the BIND button on the BT2000 module for one second. The LED on the module will flash quickly (4 times per second).
• Open the Bluetooth settings on your mobile device and select BT2000. If prompted for a password, enter the code 123456.
• After pairing is successful, the LED on BT2000 will stay on continuously and the Dashboard app will indicate that Bluetooth is connected.
• The BT2000 and the mobile device store the pairing information. The module BIND button does not need to be pressed the next time the DX3 connects to the same mobile device is enabled.
• However, the mobile device may require the BT2000 to be re-selected in the Bluetooth settings menu to reconnect to the Spektrum Dashboard app. If necessary, this should be done within 45 seconds of turning on the DX3.

Pairing with another device:

• If you want to pair the BT2000 module with another device, while the transmitter is on, press and hold the module BIND button for 5 seconds. The module LED flashes very quickly (8 times per second), indicating that existing pairing information has been cleared. The BT2000 module can now be paired with another mobile device using the pairing steps above.
