Futaba Voltage sensor SBS/01V

Futaba voltage sensor for the Futaba telemetry system on the S.BUS2.

Install Sensor module receiver battery:

• 1) Measure the length required between receiver battery and module, and cut the external cable to size,
• 2) Solder the fuse as close as possible to the receiver battery, on the black cable, (Negative),
• 3) Slide the heat shrink over the fuse and heat it, (make sure no contacts are exposed).

Install Sensor module Drive battery:

• 1) Measure the length required between battery/controller and module, and cut the external cable to length,
• 2) Solder the fuse as close as possible to the battery/regulator, on the black lead, (Negative),
• 3) Slide the heat shrink over the fuse and heat it, (make sure no contacts are exposed).

The LED status states:

• LED red: Voltage is present, but no sensor signals are being sent
• LED green: Voltage is applied and sensor signals are being sent.
• LED green and red: Lock has been programmed.
• LED blinking green and red: Fatal error. Send the sensor in for repair.

Safety Note!:

• Although the sensor measuring range is 100 volts DC, only voltages up to 60 volts DC (maximum 14S LiPo) may be connected and measured
• Voltages above 60V DC are subject to the Low Voltage Directive and require special protective measures and knowledge.

Serial Number:

• Each sensor is provided with a unique electronic serial number, on which it is registered with the system. The sensor is used to login to the system on the S.BUS2 connection on the transmitter and login to the system. This registration is described in the "Sensor" chapter in the transmitter manual. It is not necessary to enter the serial number.
