The Smart-Com RC intercom system is the result of close collaboration with many racers and is therefore specially designed for RC racing and for anyone who needs effective hands-free communication between mechanic and driver.

The Smart-Com wireless headset system consists of 1 "Master" and can be expanded to a maximum of 4 "Remote" headsets. Smart-Com features built-in Digital Enhanced Cordless Technology (DECT) with a Dialog SC14S DECT module, allowing you to communicate clearly and in real time within a range of 300-400 meters. This set operates in the 1881 MHz – 1897 MHz range and can therefore never be affected by the 2.4 gig transmitters used or vice versa. The Smart-Com Headset transmitter and receiver includes 1 rechargeable 1S LiPo battery and features an internal charger with a USB-C connection and a backlit 0.96-inch LCD screen.

With a Smart-Com headset combo, you can talk simultaneously and conduct two-way voice communication with your partners. The flexible microphone arm can rotate 270° and can be easily switched between the left and right sides using an Aux switch. The microphone can be muted by flipping the microphone arm up.

What are Smartpit functions?

• Practice mode: – voice prompt with lap time feedback sent directly to the master and remote headsets as soon as the pit crew presses the button on the microphone arm.
• Timer mode: – programmable timer reminder, pre-set by the master headset. The timer reminder is automatically sent to the master and remote headsets as soon as it is activated.
• Race mode – programmable reminder for race and refueling time, pre-set by the master headset. Voice prompts for race and refueling time are automatically transmitted as soon as the race is started by the pit crew. A timer mode and a race mode. The start/pause/reset function is operated by the pit crew using the button on the microphone arm.

Replaceable lithium battery:

• The Smart-Com wireless headset comes with a rechargeable lithium battery installed inside the headset. These 1200mAh batteries are fully charged in approximately 1 hour and offer a usage time of up to 4-5 hours after a full charge. Because they are removable, they can be charged externally with any LP Standard charger and replaced within seconds.

Internal charger:

• All Smart-Com headsets feature an internal charger in the battery compartment and are charged using a USB-C cable and a standard 5V/1A adapter. When each battery is fully charged, the corresponding LED changes from red to green, indicating that the battery is ready for use. Note: The Type-C charging cable and the external charger are optional accessories. Faux leather ear cushions:
• Included only with the blue and red versions to guarantee maximum comfort. We have used high-quality faux leather for these Smart Headsets. The breathable and skin-friendly texture of the updated ear cushions is thanks to the inert memory foam that adapts to heat and pressure, distributing weight evenly for optimal wearing comfort. The ear cushions are soft and supple, ensuring you will not experience fatigue even after prolonged use.

Carrying bag:

• A soft carrying bag is included to safely store and transport your headsets. The bag is made of waterproof nylon and features internal compartments (including a pocket with a Velcro closure for the charger and any spare batteries).
