Hydraulic oil DOT5 100 ml

This DOT5 brake fluid is based on silicone and does not absorb water from air (hydrophobic). This has two major advantages, the oil has a higher boiling point and does not lose transmission power because it can be loaded much more heavily than DOT4. A further advantage is that DOT5 lasts longer, and therefore almost never needs to be replaced.

If you want to switch from DOT4 to DOT5 oil, it is necessary to disassemble the entire brake system and subject it to a thorough cleaning, and replace the rubber where necessary. DOT5 brake fluid can definitely NOT be mixed with DOT4!
